I am 37 year old woman without any children at this time, but definitely love children. I / have a 15 year old cat named Mazie and a 3 year old miniature poodle named Max who both are my babies and I love to come home to because they love me and get me through tough days we all have on occasion. I have Bbbn played soccer since I was seven although not for the. past 2 years. I do crafting and make art with my glue gun as a form of meditation. My family is the best and I will mention them more shortly. I am a people person who cares about others feelings so I am a firm believer in the Golden Rule (treat others as you would want to be treated).
I have had a lot of experience doing different things with regards to employment in my life which I believe to be a positive asset because it has made me well rounded, adaptable to new and interesting situations, and I have a set of skills in different areas although they can be used interchangeably when working on a job. I worked at Starbucks in my early 20's as a Barista and soon became a Shift Supervisor that strengthened many attributes a person must have to lead a team to be successful. From there I drove professionally for a San Francisco Taxi Cab Company and enjoyed interacting with the public and meeting people from all over the world while showing them the best places to go, or I would be a shoulder to cry on for a customer who just needed someone to talk to while they got home safe from a night out on the town. I delivered meals for Project Open Hand to people who suffered from illnesses that made it so they depended on others for a hot meal. I particularly loved this job because I got to make a difference and would take extra time to get to know my clients and make them smile or listen to them for a few minutes instead of rushing to get my route done and head back to the job headquarters. I will always remember some of the people who impacted my life during that job. I then did nursing/caretaking in hospitals as a traveler. I enjoyed being able to make a difference but wished the system was set up where patients were allotted more time with their Doctors, RN's, and CNA's. Instead the environment felt stressful and providers were too rushed which only impacted the care patients received.
I am a very empathetic, compassionate, and fair minded person who wants everyone to receive the best care. It seems like with how healthcare has been struggling to find its path with the least resistance for patients and those who care for the burden falls on the ones who are most vulnerable. I moved on from the hospital and have been cleaning residential and some commercial buildings while considering going back to school an earning another degree. I actually have enjoyed house cleaning so much that a may do both. What I enjoy about cleaning is meeting my clients and making them happy by doing a great job and making them satisfied, oh and it feels good to get called back too. I have built a small clientele for part-time work which has been great but I need to pay the bills that living in the Bay Area demands.
I have the moat wonderful family and am blessed for this. My parents celebrate their 35th anniversary in May, and I have a younger brother and sister who both live close. I CHERISH my family and know that I must remain grateful for that because I know that so many families are broken. Not saying we are perfect, but we do love and respect each other wanting only the best for one another. I believe that everyone shod be respectful to one another even if y poo your not fond of each other especially in the workplace, school, public places. It's just common courtesy that if shown by one person to another, will most likely continue on when the person receiving a kind gesture interacts for the rest of his or her day. OK I know. I wrote more than enough and hope you made it this far, but what I have said is truly how I feel and who I am. Thanks for reading and take care. |

Yes I. have experience caring for the elderly or geriatric population. Although I am not interested in any hospital, nursing home, or in home / care work, I would lime to do a live in type of job that is not necessarily through a staffing agency. |
