My name is Ali A. and I am a 22 year old female who lives in Tuscaloosa, AL. I am currently a student at the University of Alabama in the nursing program in upper division. I am originally from Birmingham, AL where I lived with my mother, father, and older sister growing up. My family means everything to me and my mother is my best friend. I love meeting new people, running and working out, making people smile and laugh, drawing, cooking and trying out new food recipes, and love anything Alabama football related. I dislike for my car to ever be messy and must have my room clean before I can go to bed at night. I also dislike any foods with peanutbutter. My hobbies include taking my one year old dog Neely to the dog park, watching softball games, going to church, spending time with my roommates, putting together puzzles, and participating in 5ks. I believe I am a very outgoing and likeable person who enjoys being around people, especially children. I teach 1st through 5th graders at Church of the Highlands in Sunday school and also help out on the Events Team at church. I thoroughly enjoy cleaning and having a neat and tidy living space. I currently live in an apartment complex with three female roommates who are also in nursing school. I am CPR certified and work well under stressful and crisis situations if they may arise. |

Work Experience & Education Background |
2 years experience, 3 references |
I have worked in the clinical settings in numerous hospitals where I have cared for older individuals from 60 years of age up to 95 years of age. I also watched my grandmother, who had Alzheimers Disease, at my home in Birmingham for two years. My duties included feeding, changing, bathing, and giving medications on time. I intend to provide sufficient care for the elderly and love geriatric patients and working with them. Since I experienced so much with my grandmother and in the hospitals, eldery have a special place in my heart. I will treat them like my own grandparents and provide for their safety and keep their best interest in mind. |
