My name is Diane C. and I am interested in a part-time or full-time nanny position for your child and taking him or her to activities and performing light housework and any necessary errands as you see fit. My daytime hours are fairly flexible and if you are looking for someone to arrive earlier. I am also available for weekend or evening care. I live in Lorton, am a single mother of a teenager in high school and am able to begin at your earliest convenience. I have 5 years experience working with children of all ages including twins and multiples of three at the same time, aging from 18 months to 5 years old for a military family. I have also been caring for a 9 year old ever Thursday night at 6pm. I also just recently began working with The Educated Babysitter and am placed with families who are seeking a last minute sitter for a day or longer. I am very reliable, patient, honest and a caring person. I always have the kids out at the park or library, encouraging them to do art projects and seeks out fun activities to do with them. For my professional background, I have a degree in Business Administration and a year of coursework in Medical Office Administrator. I am CPR and First Aid certified, non-smoker, citizen, own transportation and a valid drivers license and am comfortable with pets. I have also worked in higher education for 12 years, which part of those years were assisting grade school students with disabilities that were seeking accommodations on college entrance exams and 9 years at a University working with transferred high school students working getting into college. My passion and joy is helping others achieve their academic goal and caring for people in need.
