  About Me

I am a single parent, I live in Roscoe Village and I have one beautiful daughter and two dogs, a Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd. My daughter is grown. I grew up in Oak Brook, Il. and I graduated from York Community H. S. in Elmhurst, Il. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. Some of my hobbies are fishing and ice fishing, puzzles, reading, watching educational programs, gardening, decorating and spending time with my family. I have an extensive amount of experience caring for newborns, infants, toddlers, preschooler and up. I was a teachers assistant in a Montessori school for 5 years, working in the infant rooms(starts at six weeks) and toddler rooms and also in the three to six year old classrooms. I am currently interested in a long term, permanent full time or part time position with another great family. I love working with children and I take great pride in my role as a professional nanny as I have made this my career. My role as a nanny is establishing a bond and to be the best and positive influence on children and to always make sure that they are always safe, happy and well cared for. To give them lots of love and attention. To always use positive energy whenever possible, such as pointing out how proud you are of them even if it is for the smallest accomplishments. I am a very loving and caring, compassionate, nurturing and very patient person. I am also very energetic, engaging, creative, reliable, responsible and just a very fun person. I enjoy engaging children in activities such as walks, going to the park, baking, sing songs, music, imaginary play, dress up, reading books, dancing, arts and crafts and just acting silly.
