| I love working with children. I find being a nanny very fulfilling. Everyday is different, and lessons are learned constantly on both ends. I have made everlasting friendships and bonds with most of the children I have worked with over the years. I find communication, patience, and understanding very important. Children should have an understanding as to what is going on around them, and should not be dismissed. Children should be spoken and listened to. Should a child need to be punished, a material object should be taken away in order for them to understand that there are consequences to actions. In the same breath, however, there should also be lots of positive reinforcement. |
