  About Me

I am a college student at NEU, pursuing a degree in pediatrics( have close to 2 years of study in ECD as well). I have 5 years of nanny experience. I am currently a nanny for an adorable 13 month old of whom I nannied for since 3 months. Unfortunately, we will be parting ways( financial issues) but I plan to keep in touch as I do with previous families. I have worked with two other FT nanny families for twin boys( 2 years) and a singleton girl( 1 year). I have also helped raise my sibilings as well as my niece and nephew.

I am very nurturing with belief that every child should feel loved, safe and protected by their caregiver. For me, being a nanny is a special job. There is no better feeling than walking into the home and getting a high pitched squeal or seeing the look on their face as they realize they can stand or crawl for the first time. Some of the most priceless faces are when they try solids for the first few times( I take pics for parent's). I am proud to say that I was recently informed Jeffrey and Michael( family of twins, now 4. 5) just started little league. I am also ecstatic that after helping my niece with volleyball, she made her school team. Those are some of the many reasons I am proud and feel privileged to be a nanny.

I love to do activities ranging from reading, tummy time, sing-a-longs, mirroring, funny faces, etc. When the weather permits I love taking the kid(s) on walks, to the park, zoo, museums and/or anything that will help their physical, social, metal and emotional development. Baby center( coolest baby site ever) has great activities month by month from infancy until a year. I am very good with implementing and following a nap/feeding schedule as well adhering to different parental styles. I also have experience with making homemade baby food.

Great parent/nanny communication is imperative for success, which is why I keep a daily baby log for parents and prefer a monthly meeting just to touch base. I am hoping to find a family that is right for me. A family that I can grow with long-term and become an extended part of the family.
