To Whom It May Concer,
I am wanting to relocate to Los Angeles, California as my children and grandchildren are in that area. I am now living in Ohio, but wish to move soon.
For the past 20 years I have been teaching but have decided not to teach any longer and am looking for another position. As a teacher I cared deeply for my students, and worked extra time to make my teaching exciting and fun. I used drama as one of my tools to do this.
I now teach online for Grand Canyon University and do this from home part time. While home I also sew various projects, some for clients, some for myself. I read in the evenings and take care of my family in my spare time. My son is now grown and no longer needs my attention and my husband and I have agreed that I would live in California. He will be joining me at some future date when jobs are available for him.
My love has been costumes for the theater over the years. I have recently begun working in this area again and will continue to in my spare time. I love creating anytihng with material. I have worked in theaters in the past and also done a few movies and comercials in the past and hope to again.
At one point in my life I worked as a home care assistant nurse. I went into people's home and cared for their needs. Sometimes medical, sometimes housecare, or most anything needed. I am sure these skills will be a positive aspect for this position.
