I have many years of childcare experience as a nanny, daycare teacher, swim instructor, and first and most recently as mom to my amazing 7 year old daughter. I am married and have been lucky to be a stay-at-home mom for the last seven years. I spend time volunteering at my daughter's elementary school and a local pet adoption agency, but I am looking for some part-time work that actually pays. I have excellent references, including from the two professional families here in Syracuse whose kids I cared for before my daughter was born.
I love kids of all ages and particularly enjoy reading to/with them. Music is my absolute favorite thing to explore with kids; I sing and play piano. I also like to play outdoors, especially in the winter when we can go sledding and build snowmen in all this Central NY snow.
I am comfortable with well-behaved pets and never fuss about cooking for kids, especially if they're interested in trying new things. I have a car and am happy to drive to the playground, library, playgroups, etc. |
