I am a dynamic, success-driven and self-motivated professional person. I have been watching children since I was 9. My family has always said that I have this desire to care for kids. I am starting College to become a RN nurse, to later become a OB-GYN. I recently watch all young children in my family, I am very into making sure homework is done with the older kids and going over numbers, words and letters with the younger ones. |

Work Experience & Education Background |
|
|
10 years experience, 3 references |
With older children, I make sure homework is always done first. I am very into their school work, with one child who is 10 that I watch I have been on field trips with him. This 10 year old boy had behavior problems in school, so I started to work with his teacher on what I could do to help make him a better student. My discipline technique with him was to make him write a essay or lines. My discipline technique with younger children is time out, I DO NOT believe in hitting children. I have worked with all types of children, for younger ones I teach number, letters and even get them into reading. I have worked with children for years even though I am 19 years old, I have been raised with strong values and beliefs. I mainly teach children to believe and love themselves. |

Sydney Sullivan |
I met this reference from my aunt. I worked for her for 4 years by watching her god-son. She has no children of her own, but she greatly desire children. She gets her god-son every week for a couple of days, but her work schedule is very demanding so it hard for her to be there for him all the time. So may job included going on field trips, making homework and projects were done, and cooking meals. I no longer do this job, because my employer recently got a new job so that she can be with her god-son more. I do still keep in contact with Ms. Sullivan, she was a very great employer. |

Javice Johnson |
Ms. Javice Johnson, has one child. Her daughter was a joy from the time she was born. Ms. Johnson is a younger mother and is a very wonderful person. I have been caring for her child since she was born. When the baby was 2 months, Ms. Johnson back to Wisconsin with her family, but that did not end my job I continued to care for Courtney in the summer time for 4 years. I would travel to Wisconsin in the summer and stay with her family and care for her daughter. Courtney recently started school and turned 5, and I am very sad to that my time with her is over. |
