Although I am young, I have an abundance of experience with children. I have been taking care of young kids for four years now, and I am passionate in my job. I currently work at a daycare right now and also provide evening care and weekend care for a five-year-old girl. I call myself the "professional" babysitter, licensed in CPR for both adults/children, and infants, I have spent numerous months caring for a newborn on the weekends, and often I am the care giver for several children for days at a time. I do love to spend time at the park or the swimming pool, outdoor activities are a big part of growing up. Also I enjoy indoor activities like arts and crafts, or reading; sometimes I have intertwined the two to preform plays with children on rainy days, as cliche as that sounds. I love working with children, teaching them, playing with them, and learning from them. |

Work Experience & Education Background |
3 years experience, 3 references |
My experience with children is vast. I have been almost like a nanny to a young girl who is now five. I am in charge of evening and weekend care off and on, and I have been doing this since the girl was two and a half. I also have been a reliable babysitter for parents with children between the ages infant-school age. I currently am working in a daycare facility as a part time daycare teacher for kids 3-5 and when needed I am sometimes used in the after school care program. I also have some experience with special needs children, my younger brother being bipolar and having severe ADHD, and working with an autistic child at the daycare. |
Childcare experience within the following age groups: |
Newborn - 3 months, 3 - 12 months, 1 - 2 years, 2 - 5 years, 5 - 10 years, over 10 years of age, special needs children, twins, triplets
Education/Training: |
High School, CPR Training, First Aid Training |
I will have graduated high school in May of 2013 and I will be attending NYU during the fall semester, although it may be likely that I take a year off to build up funds for my tuition. I studied almost every AP (advanced placement) class my school has to offer, and I earned over six college credit hours in high school. |
