I babysit families from the preschool as well, which I admittedly enjoy more because of the "one on one" (but really its me and two siblings) time I get to spend with the kids at their house and because we can leave to go on adventures around the city. My favorite is going to the botanical gardens and getting a frozen yogurt. I thinking cooking with children is really important and I love to bake. Making a pizza and putting weird new things the kids think up is always a good time. At my preschool we have a daily routine and we go on exciting adventures as often as we can using the University of Vermont which the preschool is located near frequently for its small botanical garden, free museum, and a long walking tunnel where the walls change color and they play music (it is very fun if you are one and just learned to walk). I worked at another preschool last summer as a sub and camp counselor for one week for their circus camp. I babysit for several families whose children go to the preschool I am working at currently.
