I think I am a great teacher, and I can always seem to find a way that the child can learn/ absorb stuff. My son only missed two questions on his state testing for elementary school. If I tell my 2. 5 year old daughter to clean her room after telling her twice I will go in and say ok we need to clean your room since you haven't done it yet. So do you need some help? And we will do it together until it is done. I don't like to discourage kids, and for a 2. 5 year old what seems simple to us can be a challenge for them and sometimes they just need a hand. I also believe in re-directing, and I think it is great to give a child options but to never give them a bad one or a wrong one so that they feel included.
