I am an active and energetic 31 year old from Lansing, MI. I am a kind, honest, caring Midwestern woman that has dedicated my career to working with at-risk youth in the Lansing and Greater Grand Rapids area. I studied Psychology and Sociology at Grand Valley State University, earning two Bachelor of Science degrees. I love to cook and enjoy making creative and healthy/nutritious dishes that delight the palate. I have an amazing and supportive family as well as friends. I am a woman with integrity and treat people with love and respect, looking for rewarding and meaningful job that fosters healthy development and growth to individuals serviced. Currently I am a substitute educator in Kent, Eaton and Ingham school districts for all subjects, grades levels and types of learners/students. I enjoy working in eclectic, urban and diverse settings that are fast-paced and challenging. As a life-long knowledge seeker, I am always looking for new opportunities to experience life to the fullest, finding enrichment opportunities specifically with art and music and other forms of human expression. I also enjoy volunteering with various events in my community such as Relay for Life events with the American Cancer Society, the Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts, Youth advocate, etc. If you are looking for a down to earth, passionate personality that is genuine and caring, then I look forward to speaking to you. |
