| My mom ran an in-home daycare during my whole childhood, I was a natural and loved to help. I started babysitting outside the home at the age of 10 and was highly "in demand" from that point on. After high school I worked in a couple of local childcare centers, then went to Boston as a live-in nanny. Upon returning to Boise I married, started a family, and provided childcare in my home for several years. We then decided to become foster parents and over a period of seven years provided over two hundred children with a temporary home and family. My family now prefers to have our home to themselves, and my passion to care for children leads me back to the nanny profession. |
