  About Me

I am a recent college graduate with a B. S. degree in Psychology. I am looking for experience working with children as I begin the process of applying to graduate school within the next few years. I have been babysitting for the past 4 years and have experience working with children of all ages, and children with special needs. I also have experience as a nanny, and I have been trusted by families to take care of their children for up to three days/nights at a time. I am certified in infant and adult CPR and I have my own transportation and clear driving record.

I am very approachable and flexible when working with different types of children. I have a fun and energetic personality, and I enjoy having fun with children while babysitting and nannying. I love playing games, playing outside, making crafts, being silly, and tutoring.

  Work Experience & Education Background

3 years experience, 2 references
I have babysat consistently through my last three years of college. In the past three years, I have gotten experience working with children ranging from ages 3-11, children with special needs (autism; attention deficit disorder; and oppositional defiant disorder), and twins. I have also been trained by an Occupational Therapist to tutor children with special needs and had the opportunity to become involved in the children's summer intervention program with their Occupational Therapist for a summer. I have also done volunteer work with children in daycare settings and school settings (tutoring). While babysitting for a specific family over a long period of time, I developed a close bond with the family and became a reliable resource for the children to depend on.
