Hey. My name is Liz. I am enthusiastic, creative, smart and fun. I am a student studying Elementary Education at Long Island University. I have an extensive history working with children in care giving settings; ranging from babysitting, daycare, camp counseling, tennis instruction and in classroom tutoring. For several years I tutored literacy through my college. I would go to local elementary schools and tutor struggling readers in literacy. I have also volunteered in the past at the Boys and Girls Club. My future goals are to go to graduate school for special education.
I love playing games with children, reading, helping them with homework, and doing arts and crafts. I believe that children spend too much time in front of the TV and computer, so I would encourage them to play outside or plan fun activities together. I have experience with children of all ages from infants to preteens. I am adventurous and up for any activity or game.
I am not the kind of person who sits on the cell phone, computer, or just sits the kids in front of the TV for hours. I enjoy entertaining kids with toys, songs, books, games, or running around with them outside. I also love to make arts and crafts. I take babysitting as a serious job-and put the safety and well being of the children above anything else. |
