I am 19 years old and a very well dependable type of person. You can always count on my word and I always do what I am told. Children of all ages want me to constantly spend time with them, even when I am not taking care of them at the moment. I am very responsible, punctual, well prepared, bright, and a very good role model for people of all ages.
Growing up without a father was, in a way, difficult for me. My mother was very strict and sometimes I didn't understand why, but now I know that all she was trying to do is keep me safe. I was taught to be grateful for everything I had and for everyone that was part of my life. I didn't have everything I wanted, but I had everything I needed. My getaway was my music; I am a musician. I first learned how to play the piano, and it was like if I was in another world, surrounded by peacefulness and calmness.
As mentioned before, I am a musician, playing the piano, guitar, clarinet, a little of the flute, and the bass. I like to pass my knowledge down to children and perhaps make them passionate for what music itself has to offer. I also like to help kids with their homework; from reading to writing, to math to science and history.
Every child has his/her moments where the babysitter just needs to take a deep breath and think things through very carefully. Depending on the situation, the way I discipline a child is to take away something the child is very attached to, something he/she likes to do. For example, the most common one, no television, no sweets, no zoo, no museums, etc.
Both dependability and reliability are very important for both the parents and the babysitter. Parents need someone they can depend on in every situation, even if it's out of the schedule routine. You need someone you can trust, someone you can rely on in any given circumstance. I assure you that I fit in both of those qualities. |
