Hi. My name is Deandria K. and I am a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign with my BFA in acting. I am currently living in Chicago along with my parents and my dog Baby (who I named after the movie Dirty Dancing). I work as a part time Server at Cracker Barrel in Tinley Park. I am 23 years old and my entire life I have always loved children. I love to enjoy life and take time out to just laugh and be silly. Even when I was younger I would call everyone "Baby" and attempt to take care of them. Some of my most rewarding experiences have been based around learning from and working with children. I am a very energetic and self driven woman who is extremely passionate about acting (Theatre in general) and youth. I have extensive experience working with children, both volunteer and as a job. I am currently cast in a show called Gunpowder where we aim to raise awareness of the seriousness of violence. We hope inspire the youth to rise above negativity and urge people to develop a greater sense of community. This shows really represents many of my personal goals and passions. I work to always serve as a positive role model and helping hand to the youth. I was blessed to have wonderful people help shape me into who I am and I feel it is only necessary to continue to pay that love and compassion forward. |
