Please allow me a few moments to introduce myself and explain who I am, my qualifications, and how I can be a great asset to you and your family.
First and foremost my name is Shayeeda but you may call me Shay. I have been caring for children since I was 13 years old. I started out of course babysitting for family and friends and have now evolved to full time child care provider. In 2005 I did an internship in pediatrics at Lincoln hospital in the Bronx. In 2009 I became a Pediatric Medical Assistant, and I received my A. A. S. in Early Childhood Education in June 2012. I have a passion for arts and crafts as well as reading and would share that with your child.
I am currently in the process of re-certifying for First Aid and CPR, as well as studying for the 2 exams provided by the INA to receive my credentials through them.
What you are asking for is only part of the services I provide and help your family with. Taking care of the baby and making this life changing event transition seamlessly would of course be my top priority however making sure you are in the best shape would be a priority as well. If allowed and wanted I would love to personally help you prepare for the arrival of your child. I would give you guidance and help educate you prior to the baby being born, help you baby proof the home, providing you with my thoughts and recommendations on various products from strollers to diaper rash cream. Even if I am not your choice I would still offer this service to you because it has been my goal over the last year to help new parents on what they truly need and what works.
I know for a fact the type of care, love, and support you will receive from me no one can provide. The feeling of knowing your child is receiving the best care compared to yours is the best gift.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Shay.

Work Experience & Education Background |
|
|
6 years experience, 0 references |
I have cared for 5 different children with whom I still have a relationship with now all starting within weeks of their birth. I assisted the parents in all aspects of the newborns life and for the most part tended to all needs while they healed and became adjusted to this new experience. This included but was not limited to: feeding, changing, umbilical cord/circumcision care, laundry, housekeeping etc. Three of the 5 children had other siblings that I assisted in caring for however they were school age and did not require most of my attention as they attended school. When they would return home I would assist with their homework and prepare a snack if necessary. I do have experience with premature infants and know/understand that they require much more attention and care.
Aside from these personal work relationships I was an intern at a daycare for 2 years which led to employment (teachers assistant). |
