  About Me

I am 24 years old and recently moved to New York but before that I was a nanny to four precious little boys for four years in California. The ages 6, 4, 3, and 1. I also have an eight year old sister that I helped my parents with since she was an infant. I graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where I majored in Business Management and Human Resources. While attending college I nannied four little boys for a college professor. I started off nannying one Jeren when he was two and then the others quickly came one after the other. I worked M-F with a different schedule all the time since the mother was a professor and I was a college student. Typically I would start my day around 730/8 am, I planned and prepared their meals for them, dressed them and each day had different activities planned out for them. I really enjoy arts and crafts so often we would make little gifts/ paintings for their parents. I also love baking so the older boys would help me bake treats. They lived near a park so we would go for walks a lot to the park and play on the playground and sometimes have play dates with other children. Sometimes we would go to the beach or disneyland (or other amusement parks in the area or museums) I also enjoyed reading books to them or playing educational games that I would bring over to play with them. I would put the boys down for their naps and while they napped I would tidy up the house and do laundry. Most of the time I was off by 4 or 5 pm because their mother liked to be home to prepare dinner and put them down for bed. Occassionally I would prepare dinner and put them down for bedtime if she was running late. Other than helping my parents with my now eight year old sister, I also come from a very large family so I am used to playing with children all the time and truly enjoy being around them.
