  About Me

I am energetic, active, and love working with kids. I come from a big family and my Mom did home daycare while I was growing up. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Health Science and a variety of work experience. While I was attending college I was a Nanny for two separate families - one with a ten year old son and one with a three year old daughter. My responsibilities included preparing the kids for school, taking them to and from school, doing grocery shopping, laundry, and preparing dinner. I have been working as an on-call Educational Assistant in Elementary-High School for the past six months, as well as working as a cashier at a Pharmacy. I enjoy teaching, playing, and facilitating activities with kids. I started babysitting when I was 15 and have taken care of kids from age 6 months - 12 years old. My favorite hobbies are playing tennis, reading, and exercising. I enjoy working with parents to integrate their parenting style into the way I interact with their children. My favorite part about working with kids is watching them learn about the world for the first time. I love the questions they ask and the personal interactions we share. I enjoy helping with crafts, homework, sports, and any other activity your child is pursuing.

I would do grocery shopping for the family, and cook dinner. I have been an on-call Educational Assistant for the past six months for Elementary - High School.
