| I am a very happy and upbeat person. People say I can make anyone feel comfortable and get anyone to talk. I am very caring and loving by nature. I love to try new things and encourage children to do the same. Working with children is so much fun. I do not believe in bad days just tough moments. I believe all children are different and what works with one may not work with another. I think if you keep children busy they will stay out of trouble. I am very easy going and relaxed and children tend to feed off of that. I am a believer in redirection. If needed I think time outs or loss of toys are ok. |

| I started off tutoring children and helped in a homework center in an inner city after school program then at 19 I worked in a daycare for almost 3 yrs. I worked as an assitant then became a preschool teacher, and summer camp and after school program teacher. I also worked in the infant and toddler room. After that I nannied for 3 children as a nanny and household manager for 2. 5 yrs. I worked with adults with special needs full time for a little over 2 yrs but have continued to work some hours with the agency for about 5 yrs total. I also nannied for 2 toddler aged children for a little over a yr and a half. The little girl now 6 has severe ADHD and Autism and is on a special diet. I replaced their very mean and abusive nanny and was able to gain their trust and teach them that not everyone is bad, when I would leave at night they would hug me and tell me they loved me. |
