My name is Gabby and I am an 18 year old girl who absolutely adores children. I grew up in Connecticut and moved to California about 4 years ago to attend a pre-professional arts boarding school. I moved cross- country from my family to follow my dreams at the age of 14. I am very mature for 18 because of this and also appreciate all sorts of art forms. I feel very strongly that creating through the medium of art is a beautiful way to grow in expressing oneself. I feel that we all have creative abilities that are never fully tended. I am currently furthering my education of the arts at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. All of my life I have loved little children. I was always the cousin that played and cared for the little ones and found so much joy in doing so. I feel that they are the most beautiful expressions of art, as they are a blank canvas. Any interaction I get with a child lights up my day. There is so much to be learned from them. I taught a Sunday School class for a short period of time until I found my church and community at Mosaic fellowship in Hollywood. When the children and I would sit in the classroom and teach each other it was the greatest blessing of all. I am in the process of filling out an application for getting involved with the children's ministry at Mosaic. I can not think of a job that I would want more than to be a nanny.
