  About Me

Currently I am a Senior, studying International Business at Berkeley College (12 more days and my degree will be in hand. ). I have a great sense of humor, very dedicated, and equipped with a lot of patience. This has gone far in helping me in my previous 9+ years of babysitting experience.

After caring for amazing children ranging from newborns to early school children for 9+ years, especially one of which suffered from both Sickle Cell and Type 1 Diabetes. I was able to gain confidence within the children I nurtured, enabling them to become very independent individuals.

Over the course of 6 years, I became very comfortable caring for newborns and assisting as a Mother's Helper.

My duties included but were not limited to:

Preparing meals/bottles (I loved involving the children who were willing to learn)
Changing diapers
Arts & crafts (coloring books, painting, window decorations etc. )
Potty training
Drop off and Pick ups
Supporting children's emotional and social development.
Animal care (Dog owner myself. )
Assisting with Bath/Nap time
Outdoor activities (Parks, Zoos, Bike Riding, Museum Trips etc. )
Date Nights *
Overnights*
Supervising/assisting with homework
Household duties, ex. laundry, dish washing, changing of linens etc
Assisting in developing/monitoring family schedule
And PLENTY more.

Skills & certifications:
CPR
First Aid
Valid New York State Drivers License
Special needs skills:

ADD/ADHD
Diabetes

Children were always deemed important in my life. They are our future and with specific guidance and support from birth, can mold a successful and fearless individual. I love caring for children and experiencing their development. The joy I receive from the smiles of a newborn to the roaring toddler, are pretty remarkable.
