Hello I am Anna, I come from Ischia, an island off the coast of Naples, Italy, and I have been I have been in U. S. for 20 years. I have more than 6 years of experience as a baby sitter with children from newborn to 6 years old. I have been an outstanding caregiver. I like to be a baby sitter because I love being part of the children learning process. I am loving but I am also strict when it is necessary and I know from experience that children appreciate that. For me respect and consideration of others are very important points. These are things that I love to instill in children.
A society that wants to look at the future with hope has to instill those values in children.
I like to engage them in all kinds of activities. I like to bring them out to the playground when the weather is good so they can socialize with other kids and enjoy being outside.
I also like to get them involved in artistic activities, ( I can teach them how to draw, paint, work with clay) I am an abstract painter and I taught crafts in elementary school when I was in Italy. I think that a family and the children can be very comfortable with me because I am a very easy going person and I I have a healthy lifestyle: I do not smoke or drink alcohol and I do a lot of physical activities to keep myself in good shape. I love to walk, swim, bike and I practice yoga sometimes.
Beside my regular work I do volunteer work for human rights organizations.
When I have free time I paint, read spiritual books and visit museums.
I can undergo any kind of background check.
Best regards,
Anna U.

Work Experience & Education Background |
|
|
6 years experience, 4 references |
I have worked for 3 and a half years for the same family since the children were newborn babies.
I know how to feed, bathe and change newborn babies. I did everything involved with the kids :
Pick them up from daycare, bring them home and help the mother to give them give them lunch, schedule play-dates or engage them in artistic activities, bring them to the playground, bring them to the doctors with their mother, bathe them and putting them to sleep.
In my last few years I had experience with mostly toddlers 1- 2 year old kids. I fed them, read books, changed them and played with them, brought them to the playground. I have one year of experience with a 5-6 year old boy. I had to take him to after school activities and cook for him and his sister of 1 year old. I worked from the early afternoon hours to evening.
At the present time I am working with a child that is now 2 and a half years old and I have been with her for a year and a half. It is a part time position. I bring her to the playground, when the weather is good and once we are home I gave the meal that is already prepared by her father. I change her and play with her. I engage her in creative activities. We do a lot of arts and craft and we make puzzles
I also had experience with 9-10 years old kids being a craft instructor in elementary school.

To Whom It May Concern:
It is with great pleasure that I write a letter of recommendation for Ms. Anna U.. Anna has worked for me since August of 2012, caring for my young daughter, Abigail Rowan. Anna watches Abby three days a week for seven hours each day and has worked for me for the entire school year. She has never been late or called to tell me she could not come for any reason. She arrives promptly and will stay later if I get held up at work. She is considerate, reliable, and dependable.
More than that, she has become a wonderful figure in my child s life. Abby was almost a year old when Anna first started and now, at almost two, it is incredible all she has learned. Anna has helped to expand her vocabulary, has taught her how to pretend play using her toy kitchen and toy shopping cart, and has spent countless hours outside with Abby, going for walks in the stroller or even patiently walking slowly so Abby can toddle along next to her. Abby recognizes trucks, cars, buses, planes and all of her colors thanks to Anna s guidance and persistence in teaching new things every day.
She has been an outstanding care giver and a wonderful companion for my little girl. As a single mother, I needed to find a nanny I could depend on for this year and I am so glad I found Anna. She has been a life saver during this year and I will be sorry to not have her around anymore once Abby begins to attend preschool at my place of employment this coming August. However, as a parent I know the first year is perhaps the most important developmentally, and then, from ages 1-5, children learn quickly based on how much attention and inspiration they are given. I can assure you that Anna U. will be a positive influence on your child s life and will help to expand their minds and learning experiences.
If you would like to speak further, please call me.
Sincerely,
Sarah Moje
