  About Me

Hi there. I have been working with children for over eight years, and have varied from a weekly babysitter to a full-time nanny. I am a new resident to the Florida area, as I just moved here from Connecticut. I love the area and just finished my bachelor's degree in CT as an English major with a minor in Theater, which means I am bubbly, active, and alert. I love children and firmly believe in a daily reading routine to get them prepared for their education. In most toddler positions, I even try to incorporate a curriculum to prepare them for their early education.

I have worked with children from newborns to the age of 15 and have loved every minute of it. I also have experience with household pets, if you have any, that isn't an issue either. I love to cook and would be happy to help follow a family recipe you need prepared for your child's dinner, or perhaps to even get it started before the family comes home. More so, I can do light housework if necessary, and have reliable transportation for commuting purposes. I am looking work mornings to late afternoons, as I would like to keep my nights free should I eventually want to go back to night school to begin my master's degree, but will be flexible depending on your situation. I have worked in the education field as well, including tutoring, so if you have an older child that needs homework assistance or after-school revision, I do not mind assisting with that either. My life long goal is to teach, and any and all experience is something I look forward to by giving it my all. I am dedicated, punctual, stern when necessary, an initiator, fun and loving (that goes without saying) and have an inane cleaning habit. You'll never come home to a mess.

Thank you for taking the time to read a little more about me. I look forward to hearing from you. Any and all questions should be directed through my application message.
