Megan W.
Motivated, reliable, professional, outgoing leader with a go-getter mentality & a
positive attitude
My life experience in sports includes playing competitive soccer (15yrs), field hockey (4yrs), and pole
vault (4yrs). In 2003, I began coaching high school varsity field hockey (4yrs), soccer (3yrs), and pole
vault (4yrs). As a coach, I was responsible for administrative and coaching duties including: scheduling
games/ tournaments/ buses, organizing try-outs, running practices, coaching games, organizing fundraisers,
developing and maintaining parent/student relationships, organizing banquets, etc. I was also a strong and positive role model for students on and off the field. My most recent job consisted of instructing both elementary and middle school P. E programs throughout the LA and Orange county district. With this job I was able to attend the regional and national CAPHERD conferences. I enjoy being a role model for youth today and whatever I am teaching them, I get the most out of seeing them develop and grow to be better individuals. Although most of my experience is with sports, I would love to be involved with anything that involves kids and making a difference in there lives.
