  About Me

My name is Dominique W. and I am currently a 19 year old college student/ nanny in Seattle, Washington. I plan on moving to New York in June, and I am looking for a full time/ part-time (Live-in/ live-out) nanny position, because nannying is what I love to do. :) Im moving to New York simply because I absolutely love it there, and I would love to get the NYC nanny experience.

I have about 6 years of experience working with school age children. Starting at the age of 13, I began a Counselor in Training program at the Wallingford Boys & Girls Club in Seattle, WA (Children ages 5-11) in order to eventually become a camp counselor there. At the age of 16, I was hired as a full time camp counselor in the summer and part time in the school year, and worked there up until the beginning of this school year (Sept. 2013) I then found a job as a nanny for 2 girls ages 8 and 11 and I have been doing that ever since. I love working with children, and I eventually want to get a degree in early childhood education, or psychology. I am CPR and first aid certified (infant, child, and adult) as of October 2012, but plan to get it renewed soon. I was also trained at the Boys & Girls Club in various other child-related subjects such as "children with ADHD" and "Children with special needs.
I am extremely kind and hard working, and I get along with children very well. I like being outdoors, cooking, arts and crafts, and traveling.
I plan on arriving in New York City on Friday, June 26th and I am willing to start immediately.

In addition, I also have many childcare references that can be provided upon request and I have attached a resume and photo.

Began working as a counselor in training at the age of 13 here and was eventually offered a part-time position for the school year when I turned 16. Worked near full time in the summer until Sept. of 2013. I moved to the other side of the city and was no longer able to commute and had to end my position here.
