At my practicum sites I was able to play with the children on the floor at their level and learned to use positive guidance with them. I was able to be very creative with my activity plans while being aware of the developmental milestones. I worked at Big Steps Little Feet, starting as a substitute/assistant teacher and was promoted to a lead teacher in the early preschool classroom. During my work experience I was able to develop a positive relationship with the parents, children, and teachers in the center.
