Hi my name is Sydney H.. I am 20 years old. I am a student at BYU-Idaho. I am the oldest of 4 children. I am studying to be a teacher and major in Special Education /Early Childhood Development. I am currently working as a teacher at the KinderCare facility in Peoria but I am looking to be a nanny instead of that or work part time as a teacher.
I have been babysitting for the last 7 years. I have experience with children that are newborn through 17 years old. I worked as a head volleyball coach for ages 5-13 for 2 years. I worked at a day care planning activities, helping with homework, potty training, creating experiments, planning field trips, and more for ages 0-12. I worked as a nanny for the last year for a family with 3 children ages 2-10. As a nanny I took children to and from school. I did housekeeping (including laundry), ran errands, hosted play-dates, attended extra-curricular events, and attended appointments with doctors or dentists. I have a lot of experience creating fun and new science experiments, planning sporting events, building forts, and creating all sorts of arts and crafts using household items or things found outside. Currently, as a teacher, I work with ages 1-3 and sometimes with the infants. I love to read books, make arts and crafts, and sing and dance with my class. |
