| Hello. My name is Katy and I am 26 years old. I recently moved to Burbank from Indiana. I am a college graduate with a degree in Applied Health Science, and past work experience as a Physical Therapy Technician in a very busy outpatient care clinic for a little over three years. My favorite part of my job was talking to and helping so many different people each and every day. I love being active and incorporating health into every day living. Currently, I am working on my Master's degree part time online in Human Resources Administration. I am CPR/First Aid certified, and have had several early childhood education classes. While attending IU, I volunteered with the Headstart and PALS organizations in which I helped mentor children ages three to five. I come from an extremely large, close extended family and have always been the go-to babysitter. I am extremely organized, and would have no problem helping with laundry and light housekeeping. | I have worked with all age groups, and come from a large extended family with several little ones. My most recent nanny position was caring for an 8 month old baby girl. I met the family when she was two months old and watched her full time five days a week. Along with the usual feedings, diaper changes, etc. I took the baby to MyGym classes, and a baby music class each week. Sadly, she was finally taken off the waiting list and accepted into daycare so I am excited to meet a new little one. |
