  About Me

Well I am a free spirit. I believe the only way to enjoy life is to have fun. You should be happy in what you do & who your with. Kids are that happiness in my life. Whenever I am upset I can look at a kid & realize there is so much more to live for. I am a big kid at heart. I always seem to be around children. I have a big family with lots of kids & friends with children also. Kids seem to be drawn to me. And I am ok with that because I love being a kid sometimes. I believe the only way a child can learn is by expressing there interest in something. And if it is something that is to no danger of the child, than I believe you should experience this interest with the kid/kids. Children are very creative & want to jump into new challenges heads first. They love new & exciting activities. And stimulating there minds is the only way they learn new things. You always have to have fresh new ideas or they will get bored. A bored child is not a good thing. There young & active. Kids are suppose to be making the best of the day. They give me the energy to live life to the fullest.

  Work Experience & Education Background

0 years experience, 3 references
I worked in a summer camp with children from ages 4-5. I had different activities set up everyday for the children. I had such things such as arts & crafts, swimming, dancing, snack time, sports, etc. I tried to keep them busy, so they wouldn't get restless. I also worked at daycare for almost a year. I worked with age groups ranging from infant to 4 yrs old. I worked as an assistant teacher. Helping the lead teacher setup activities for the children. Assistant in changing diapers, showing the children how to clean up after themselves, teach them how to eat by themselves, assist in potty training. We had circle time, which consisted in singing songs, teaching them there color & shapes, asking them questions about there day, basically get the children to interact together & communicate. We also had naptimes which helped to rejuvenate the children for the rest of the day. We played sports with them when the weather was appropriate to take them outside. We had breakfast, snack & lunch everyday family style. Meaning us the teachers sat down with the children & ate with them. So when it came down to sitting down for dinner at home they knew how to & did it with manners.
