I have extensive practical experience as a Baby Nurse for twins and have provided daytime and overnight care to several families including one with premature healthy twins. I have extensive practical experience with newborns and knowledge of accepted practices in newborn care and assisting parents with the day-to-day care of their new baby. I can establish and maintain feeding, bathing, sleeping, naps and playtime schedules transitioning smoothly from one activity to another, and keeping an accurate journal. I am able to apply and teach swaddling, burping, breastfeeding techniques as wells as advise mothers on non-medical but general issues that might transpire such as jaundice and reflux, colic etc.
As an experienced, educated and one who adores and respects children, I am a mother of two young adults who are now in College. I am currently employed caring for twin toddlers and have cared for them since they were four weeks old. However, I love the children, their parents and their home environment, the time has come to move on as the children are reaching preschool age and will be placed in a Montessori School.
I offer perfect nanny services: caring, and supervising children, focusing and prioritizing their needs assuring happiness, health, good mannerism and meeting the educational goals for each child.
I am an innovative and expert in following routine schedules and offering children guidelines that promote positive behavior patterns successfully meeting parental expectations.
I am: CPR and First Aid Certified, have a valid Alien Green Card, Driver's License and Social Security Card. I am bi-lingual with proficiency in Portuguese, English and have moderate fluency in Spanish.
I am family-oriented, friendly, flexible and reliable and have reliable transportation. I have been a Professional Nanny for over ten years, which enhanced my abilities of complex problem solving in a working environment.
