Hi. I’m Katherine I am a bilingual nanny currently looking for a full time position. I have over five years experience as a baby sitter and nanny. I am the only girl out of three boys. Being the only girl didn’t mean I was always the princess, I was a tomboy most of the time. Always outdoors, playing sports or at a dance rehearsal. Being an active child allowed me to grow, learn and develop priorities and time management skills. Which I think are essential tools in keeping the flow of a daily schedule. I looked after two young children 3 years old and 5 months. Implementing daily routines as well as attending any medical appointments or social events, providing healthy meals and snacks, helping with homework, setting up play dates and squeezing in nap times are a few examples of how I was able to manage the ever changing schedule of life with children. I was able to handle each situation to the best of my ability, having full support from both parents regarding my decision making.
I am taking some time off from school to be able to work full time. I currently am enrolled in John Jay Criminal Justice College where I am studying Forensic Pathology.
I am proactive, very creative and have fantastic ideas to keep children occupied all while possibly learning Spanish. Getting children ready for school and out the door, helping with after-school activities like homework, dance or any sporting events, are a few of the ways I would like to make life a little easier for you. Thank you for your consideration, I hope to meet you soon. |
