Hi,
My name is Eliana. I am 26 years old and my first language is Spanish.

I came to the United States in 2008, and I worked as Au-pair for an American family for 2 years. They had 2 kids: a boy of 4 years old, and a girl of 11 years. The son was 2 years old when I started working for the family and I played a direct role in language development/proper manners/and potty training with him. I would also take the children to their activities, to the park or for walks around the neighborhood, and in summer to camp, and to the pool. We would also play outside, read books, and do some arts and crafts. Part of my activities was to keep the home tidy and ran errands for the mother (shopping, appointments for the kids, etc. )

After that I worked for over 2 years for a family with a 4 years old boy and a 19 months old girl. I started working for them since the boy was almost 2 and the baby was born. A typical day with these kids would be preparing their meals (bottles-breakfast, lunch, dinner) playing with them, picking up the boy from school and taking both of them to parks, library, Discovery kids and other places. We would do arts and crafts and read books. I supervised their naps, gave them baths, did their laundry, and cleaned up after them. I would also do some cleaning and watch the dog.

After that family I started working full time for a family with a 4 years old boy and 2 years old girl, I worked for them for 10 months but I had to leave them because I moved far away from them. After that family I worked full time for a family with a toddler and a baby but the mother moved to New York. Right now I am working part time for a family with one 15 months old boy but I am looking for a full time position.

I also have experience sitting for other families, who needed me for a few hours so they could run errands or go out on dates.
Back home I have experience babysitting newborn babies, and kids from 1 to 14. I have 3 brothers of 16, 14, 10 and a sister of 8. I have helped my mother with them since my brothers were very young and my sister was a newborn. Being the oldest sister and helping my mother with my siblings while she worked, I am very experienced in all aspects of child care. I am a very enthusiastic and responsible person.
Please, if you have any question let me know.

Thanks,
Eliana
