Consistency is imperative when raising/working with children, children need reasonable limits as well. I believe that discipline is a form of teaching, and not punishment; I work with children, and review their choices to explore better options for the future. I believe in providing what's best for the child and unfortunately that may not always be what the child may want. Active hands on learning is key, but I also believe children don't need to be entertained at all times; a part of growing up is learning how to entertain oneself.
