  About Me

Hi. I am Kahla (Kahle). I am 25 and the proud aunt of 6 nieces and nephews. I have played a large part in all their lives and I'd love the chance to do the same for your children. I have been working and volunteering with children since I was myself still one. I am an avid reader and writer. I love playing games(board games, top games, video games, etc. ) but also I really like the outdoors. I was even in my school's outdoor adventure club. I like exploring new places and trying new things so I am always up for trips. I have a huge imagination, and a lot of enthusiasm.

Stacy Burmo
Stacy was the center director when I worked and volunteered at the preschool HeadStart. I worked at the Ellenville center for about a year and volunteered at there for a few years before that as well. I left because I I went away to school myself and was away during the year, but I still volunteer there every once and awhile.

Sam Bugna
Sam was head of Camp Shawangunk the camp I worked for and returned to for 6 years. I was a counselor there and while I was offered a supervisory role I chose to stay and work with the kids. That's where I preferred to be. I also left this job because I went away to college and the starting week of my school interfered with the beginning of the semester. Though some of my greatest memories are from my camp days.
