  About Me

Dear parents,
My interest in children’s care started develops after I worked as an Au Pair within the exchange program Cultural Care EF in 2010. At that time, I stayed with a family for two years in MA. I took care of 4 wonderful kids: Thomas (5 years old), Josef (3 years old), Charlie, and Caroline (twins new born).
Different activities where involved in my daily basis at work: starting in the morning I needed to wake up the kids and get them ready to go to school and kindergarten. After I picked up Josef from kindergarten I used to prepare a meal for lunch and do some activities with him. Sometimes I arranged play dates with other kids and their Au Pairs. Other days we went to the Library, played at the park or just stay at home doing some arts and crafts. Thomas was in a full time school, and the twins were born in the second year of my time with this lovely family.
When the twins were born, I took more responsibilities with them than with the older kids. I basically change my routine and spend all time with the babies changing dippers, preparing bottles, playing and doing some exercises to them.
As you can see from my CV, after my time here in the US with the kids, I decided to go back to Mexico and start a career as an English teacher for public schools especially working with preschool kids. In order to accomplish my goal I worked in different jobs that allowed me to continue practicing and improving my English. I took some courses and certifications as well to learn about how to approach the best with my students and how to teach them according with their age and skills.
My ability to interact with little kids is because I am a very active person. I belonged to the Girls Scout Association in Mexico for about 10 years. During that time I learned a lot about team work, interaction and respect to others either playing games, practicing sports or doing social practices. I developed a big sense of responsibility and care for others, especially for those who are younger than me. I adore activities out door.
I am crazy about Arts too and making arts and crafts is fun.
I am available for interview at any time and should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours sincerely,
Claudia Orta
