Hi. My name is Kendra. I am a single 27 years old Christian woman who loves children. I believe I am a great choice for your family. I don't have children of my own, but I come from a large family. I am one of ten children. I also have over 100 cousins and that's just on my fathers side, can you believe it. ? As you can imagine I am well acquainted with babies and young children. Since I was eight I assisted my mom with some care of my youngest sibling. As I got older I started working as a babysitter for family friends and got a job in a daycare. In my adult life I have worked as a CNA in the maternity ward and pediatrics and as a caregiver for the elderly. Providing personal care and care of the home for elderly clients is surprisingly similar to caring for children, but I really want to get back to my biggest love. I have always enjoyed working with children. My hobbies (reading, cooking, baking) lend to some responsibilities I would have as a nanny. I also am comfortable around pets and willing to do household cleaning and chores. Please consider me. I look forward to hearing from you. |

Work Experience & Education Background |
|
|
1 years experience, 3 references |
I worked in a local hospital for two years. I was a relief worker, meaning I made my own schedule. Normally I would make sure that I had at least 20 hours of work per week. I picked up 90 of my working hours in Maternity and Pediatrics. I couldn't get enough.
I worked for a year in a daycare caring for children ages 0-12.
Most of my childcare experience is personal. I have many nieces, nephews and cousins. I also have two godchildren. I babysit these children often spanning from a couple of hours at a time to days at a time. I am well experienced in bathing, dressing and feeding infants and children (I can cook and I know how to prepare milk for infants) and engaging in educational and fun activities. |
