  About Me

I am a very energetic person with strong morals and values. I have been attending college for a year and it is my main goal to graduate with a Nursing degree. My family and I have always been very close and they are supportive in everything I do. I have wanted to be a nanny for a while because I love working with children of all ages. My goal as a Nanny is to provide the best environment for both the children and parents and to give my help and love. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes family errands, children’s laundry, meal preparation and keeping the house tidy. If I had to describe myself I would say that I am fun, empathetic, loving, honest and reliable. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include nutritious eating, educational games, and physical activity. As a Nanny I learned how difficult it can be to manage the varying needs of children in diverse stages of development. I honed the ability to care for each child individually, while paying close attention. I always committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for the children in my care. As a direct care worker for children with disabilities, I provided a personal care assistant towards children in the 1 to 8 age groups. I am a fluent speaker of French, English and Creole and would be more than happy to help increase children’s proficiency in the language. I take safety extremely seriously, and am trained and certified in childhood first-aid and CPR. I am also a nursing Assistant certified and a Home Health Aide.

As a nanny, I have more than 3 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. In my previous role as daytime nanny to a busy family of two children, I learned how difficult it can be to manage the varying needs of children in diverse stages of development. I honed the ability to care for each child individually, while paying close attention to the needs of the group. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for the children in my care. As a direct care worker for children with disabilities, I provided a personal care assistant towards children in the 1 to 8 age groups.
