  About Me

I am a very patience person when it comes to children. I love working with them, I believe that they have many lessons to teach me as well as me teaching them. I give children respect and in turn they respect me. I have worked with many different children from many bakgrounds and ages. Being out in diferent environments while working with children has helped to expand my knowledge about them. I havent even been given trouble by the ones that are considered "problem child". I am not going to count this experience out, I am sure that one day I will have a "problem child" that is very difficult to deal with but, I will not hesitate to show him/her respect. I exude alot of patience. When working with children, having patience makes me aware of everything going on around me. It helps to work with children in many situations.
I approach every situation with no expectations. Every child is different.

  Work Experience & Education Background

10 years experience, 5 references
I have worked at preschool working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and after schoolers. I have also worked with large groups. While working as a camp counselor, I had a group of 40+ children that were five years old. I planned the activities for the children. During the school year I helped children with their homework. In 1996, I worked for a skating rink. I taught young children how to skate. I was also a floorguard, who skated around with the children and played games. While working with the afterschoolers I taught the children a few dance routines. It developed into a program. We praticed everyday after school. My favorite group, I would have to say are the toddlers, they mimic everything that you do and say, they pick up on everyday phases that are used. They are very eager to learn.
