  About Me

I love being a nanny because I find it very fulfilling to have a positive impact on a child’s life by building up their self esteem, independence, responsibility and respect. I enjoy being a nanny as I can provide close attention to the children in my care which means more time for fun, play and learning. I enjoy spending the time with parents to listen and communicate with the family about their children’s developments or concerns to promote the child to develop to their full potential.
Working with children ensures everyday is exciting and new and holds new challenges and exploration.
Finally I enjoy continuing being a nanny because I enjoy the feeling of the close bond in a family with the children and parents.

I feel I am an affective nanny as children love that I interact and play along in their games.
I enjoy a wide variety of learning activities including, reading, baking, acting, role play, walks, crafts and lots of imaginative play. I give lots of attention to praise and encouragement. I find ways to keep learning fun and exciting to stimulate all areas of development. I continually keep the parents informed about their child’s day and will clearly communicate any issues or concerns.
My discipline style is firm and consequences of behavior depends on the children's age, if they are young I redirect them, as they get older they will face loss of a privilege. Most importantly I find the most effective way to put an end to unwanted behavior is to ignore it (If they are safe) and to put more attention on encouraging there good work and behavior.
