I am 24 years of age, I was born in Kingston, Jamaica. I am the middle child for my parents and the only girl, I enjoy dancing reading and listening to music. I like good movies and trying new food, I really dislike a negative person and someone who is not genuine. Growing up in Jamaica is not only adventurous but also a learning experience, I had to be responsible from a very tender age. Taking care of my younger brother and getting my all chores done after school was my way of helping my mother. After my father past my mother became a single parent and my older brother and I knew we had to pull our weight.
I came to America in the year 2012, I thought my situation would of been better and honestly I had to work even harder. I came here as a college student just work to earn my tuition and I encountered a totally different experience. I consider myself versatile, a chameleon I blend in very easily. I always thought of myself doing this for greater good of my family due to fact that my mother works really hard to support us. I live everyday to be a better version of myself, I carry my morals and beliefs with me because I am proud of who I am and where I am going.
I decided to be a caregiver because I enjoy lending a hand, meeting new people and learning about other culture as well exchanging mine. I learn everyday to accept people for who they are and in this field it is very much so. I want to be able to inspire a child through my job, just to be able to care and love that child as my own, not because I am getting paid to do so. I am very dedicated to what I do and strive everyday in doing so, I am determine to help that family for their everyday lives to be easier and I am discipline enough to execute whatever morals and values you want to be instilled in your family. |

Patience, that is the word I would solely use. Children are people as well, they understand and they have delicate feelings. I always exercise patience because I want them to know I respect them that way they will respect me. |
