  About Me

I am such a people person and I enjoy bringing life into everybody. I am positive and have always loved kids since I was a little girl, I used to walk around with a baby doll at all times like I was a mother when I was 7 years old and since then I have always wanted to work with children. I am very caring, genuine, patient, and loving as well as always happy. I believe in always keeping positivity even when you're looking at negativity straight forward in its face.

I started babysitting when I was 14 years old. I have worked as a teacher in a licensed daycare for children (ages 3-5) and have also volunteered at a daycare as well, and I loved every minute of being apart of the children cognitive and social development. I am also currently working on obtaining my First Aid and CPR certification as well as obtaining my teaching license.

If you just so happen would like a reference, my supervisor from the Cardinal's Nest which is a licensed Daycare, has provided me with a recommendation letter to work in a licensed daycare center or to work with children that I would be happy to provide you with.

Thank you so much for the opportunity of considering me.

  References

Melissa Vinciguerra
I worked for this reference at the Cardinal's Nest Program, she was my supervisor and watched me closely as I was one of the co-teachers of her class! This was a seasonal position, I was never terminated, in fact invited to join the program again! Down below I will provide a reference and recommendation letter from the employer for you: To whom it may concern, I am privileged to recommend Raelyn Curry as a candidate for employment at your Child Care Center. Raelyn was a student in my Child Development class where she student taught the preschoolers in our High School Cardinals Nest program for 3-5 year olds. In this program, Raelyn was responsible for creating activities for our 3-5 year olds, planning nutritious snacks, selecting storybooks to read and helping in their overall development. She assessed the preschoolers’ growth cognitively and socially. Raelyn gets along well with others, is focused, versatile, dependable and creative. She is very sweet and never afraid to try something new and different. I recommend her because of her dedication and hard work in all that she does for herself and for others around her. Her desire, diligence and graciousness will make Raelyn an asset to your business. Raelyn is patient and caring especially when it comes to working with children. After studying how children develop she cared for a “Ready or Not Tot” battery operated infant doll for 2 school nights. She carried the doll with her and cared for its every need. Raelyn did not let her sleepless nights affect her negatively. She cared for the infant doll in a mature adult manner. If you need any other information on her behalf, I would be honored to help. Please contact me at the Pocono Mountain East High School at (570)839-7121 ext. 80400. Sincerely, Ms. Melissa Vinciguerra Child Development Teacher PM East High School Cardinals Nest Preschool Director

Director
I volunteered at Nottingham Country Day care where I took care of children from infants to 12 years old. I changed diapers, warmed bottles, put children to sleep for naps, and also played a part in their mental development.
