  About Me

Dear families,

My name's Veronika and I am a 27 year-old Czech.
I was working as an au pair for the past 13months in New Jersey. Was taking care of 3 lovely, energetic kids, 8 years old twins (girl and boy) and 12yo boy (and a dog). I finished the au pair program and moved to NYC to study. The school I attend is called Spanish American Institute and is located in Times Square. The school hours are 9:15am-12:50pm. Though, I am very flexible in terms of hours. I am willing to skip school when sick days/holidays/whenever you need me to. I am also able to come in the mornings and get kids ready for school before my school starts. I am very neat, have great organization skills and love cooking.
As an au pair, I took care of light house keeping, dog walking and feeding, laundry. Daily prepared breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner, ran errands. I am comfortable driving. I am a holder of a New Jersey drivers license. Each of the kids I was taking care of had different activities during the week which meant I had to perfectly orginize their time, drop-offs and pick-ups. I was also organizing and setting up play dates and supervising kids when doing homework.
I am flexible, patient, creative, dynamic, caring, easy-going, organized, neat, very systematic, reliable and loyal. I am a pet-lover, love running, badminton and bike riding. I used to take dance classes (for 9 years). I come from a big family. I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Each of them has 2 or more kids so I am definitely experienced taking care of the little ones.
I studied Modern Greek Language and Literature at Masaryk University, Czech Republic. I also got a scholarship which allowed me to study at The University of Ioannina, Greece for two semesters. I am fluent in Greek, English, Czech and Slovak, learning Spanish.
I am looking to work in an active family. Not live-in. Can start working on March 14.
If interested, please reach out to me at ***@*** to talk further. The family I am working for can provide references.
I truly appreciate taking your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Veronika

My second paid childcare experience was based in New York where I was taking care of a 2yo boy. This experience lasted for about a month because the family just needed a substitute while their nanny had been taking some time off.
I come from a family of 8 and all my 5 siblings have their one little ones so, I have a lot of experience taking care of children (ages 0-12) in general.
