  About Me

Hello. My name is Taylor and I am 21 years old. I am from Dallas, Tx. I moved to Washington in 2014 when I was in the US Navy. I am the youngest of 7 children, with 20-something cousins and 2nd/3rd cousins of varying ages. I am the proud auntie of a little 4 year old boy name Henry (he is my world). I currently live with a family, including a 2 year old boy. I live here in Washington alone. I am a huge movie buff and I love reading. I enjoy bike rides and walks and water balloon/gun fights, when the weather permits, I am a master bubble blower. I currently have no pets but love all animals equally. I do have a mild allergy to some breeds of cats. During my spare time, I enjoy long drives, taking pictures and dancing around my living room. I was an assistan manager at a trampoline park, so I have plenty experience being outnumbered. While I adore little girls, I have more experience with little boys. I miss tea parties and dressing up dolls and I excel at playing outside. I was in the avy for 2. 5 years but I was discharged due to medical reasons. I try to use the discipline and core values the Navy taught me every day. I look forward to hearing from parents who think I would be a good match to care for their little ones.

  Work Experience & Education Background

4 years experience, 0 references
I have 4 years of hands on experience and a certificate in childcare/child development which was obtained through a high school course. I have experience with infants, toddlers, and young children. I am energetic, loving, caring and I am always willing to go to chuck e cheese and let the kids have a wonderful time. If I have more than one most likely I will plan a field trip. I always make sure to keep extra clothes in a bag for them. Prior to leaving for the Navy, I was the primary caregiver for my nephew and my sister's Friend's son, who is 1 month younger than he. On deployment in Japan, I volunteered for the Kadena Special Olympics 2014, I worked whit children and adults of all ages over a three day period, assisting and coaching events, maintaining healthy habits, such as water intake and frequent snacking, it was the best part of my deployment. I firmly believe that every person who interacts with a child impacts them and their growth. I believe every child needs love, affection, and guidance, and I would be honored to be given that chance.
