  About Me

Introducing Claire--and Quality Care

Having a child is absolutely wonderful--but its also absolutely worrisome. That's why my family and friends have trusted me in past to care for their bundles of joy every date night or office party since I was 14. Now, at age 19, I have obtained a certain skill set that makes me not only qualified to babysit children of all ages, but also to help them grow in all fields of life. Aside from providing basic care (food, guidance, and over-all supervision), I will also provide fun, learning activities, and perhaps even become a role model in their young eyes.

In addition to befriending your children, I will act as an authority-figure, ensuring that their behavior matches your expectations even when you are not around.

  Work Experience & Education Background

6 years experience, 4 references
I have been in the official work force since I was 16. I worked full time at Whataburger while attending high school--where I took multiple honors courses. At Whataburger, I received my first promotion at 17 and became the youngest Team Leader in the company. I continued to learn more about management until age 19. From there, I got a job as a personal assistant to an entrepreneur. Unfortunately, I would like something more satisfying--like easing a worried single mother's mind because she knows her child is in great hands.

Additional Experiences/Qualifications/Preferences:
I LOVE animals. I nothing would make me happier than caring for kids with two and even four legs! Also, adore toddlers. I love seeing little light bulbs go off as they make new, daily discoveries. On another note, I checked "no" when asked about caring for special needs kids. Although that saddens my heart, I fear I don't have a medical background and depending on the condition of the child, I, personally, would not feel comfortable having them under my care. The kids will be my responsibility and if I cannot tend to their every need, then I cannot accept the job. This goes for all nanny positions, and I thank you for your understanding. Lastly, I do request $20 an hour as far as pay, but my mother was a single mother who struggled greatly. I do not wish to turn a family in need of both help and quaility care--a care that all kids have a right to. That is why I ask that if the $20 is not doable, that you contact me anyways and we can see what we can work out.
