| My name is Angel B. and I am a 22 year old student of sociology. Born and raised in Sacramento, I moved to Santa Monica to further my education. My mother (and others) have frequently called me the "Pied Piper of children. " I encourage free expression while providing choices within a boundary cultivating respect for life around them. I am a person that can make a simple walk an exciting excursion. I love to allow children to freely express themselves because their innocence is so powerful, I love for them to ask a million questions and examine their surroundings with them. Although I have none, I have been assisting in raising children ever since I was 7, it is nearly impossible for me to list all of my experience, so I will list some basics. Professionally I have worked at a school for children with autism where I provided one-to-one support to individual students in the classroom, implementing the children’s lessons, and activities. I also did respite in- home care for a child with autism, age 5 for one year. With this position I made fed, engaged in activities with, bathroomed/ potty trained, all the basics with the trimmings. with of course love and compassion becoming a part of the family. Along with these positions I acquired a CPR and First Aid card. I recently was a nanny to an 8 year old boy where I picked him up from school, helped him with homework, fed him (occasionally cooked for the family), took him to extracurricular activities, playdates, etc. Any job I have ever loved involved children I have babysat children of all ages from newborns and up but prefer children under the age of 3. I have a lifetime of experience enjoy gaining more.
