Hello. My name is Ally.
I am a recent graduate from the University of Kansas where I double majored in Journalism and Communication Studies. While I do thoroughly enjoy my career, and have been working for an Advertising agency as an Account Executive since graduation, I find myself missing my previous job as a nanny.
Throughout college, I was a nanny for a little boy named Gray. While I worked hard to earn my degrees, I’ve always had a passion in working with children. I began working for Gray’s family when he was 3 mos old. With their busy lifestyle, neither parent had a consistent schedule of spending time at home, which allowed me to work in the home from 9 am-9 pm most days. I was always willing to adjust my class schedule around times I watched Gray. I became part of the family and very attached to Gray. My duties included child care, meal preparation, traveling with the family, grocery shopping, laundry, light housework, transportation/attendance at various activities, potty training, and much more.
I also have experience as a Personal Assistant, as I worked closely with the mother of the family previously mentioned with her home business. I was responsible for assisting with book keeping, making travel arrangements, assisting with laundry, and much, much more.

~AllyThroughout my years of experience as a nanny, I have adapted to numerous roles based on the family's needs and lifestyle. I am a very hands-on type of person, and this certainly carries over into my childcare style.
I enjoy being outdoors, taking the child(ren) on daily outings, doing arts and crafts, going on picnics, etc. My childcare style does not include sitting in front of the TV all day watching movies. I have always enjoyed watching the children I have nannied for learn and grow every day.
