Hi. I am 23 years old and I am graduating from Michigan State University in May with a degree in Elementary Education. I am looking for a summer nanny position until my student teaching internship starts in the fall.
I have about 12 years of childcare experience. For two summers, in the past four years, I have had a full time job babysitting for two families of three children each. Last summer I worked as a sports camp counselor and swim instructor for Goldfish Swim School. I was also a swim instructor at Goldfish for five months, teaching infants up to children 5 years old. I have experience watching newborns through middle school aged children, only child to multiple children (up to five/six at one time). I love children and obtaining the experience for teaching. I have a very reliable car for fun summer activities and errands.
I will be living a home in Troy this summer. I am looking for a position in the surrounding and near by cities (Royal Oak, Rochester, Birmingham, Bloomfield, Sterling Heights, Utica, Beverly Hills, etc). Ideally, I am looking for a 3-4 days/week position (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday). I am able to start the last week in May or early June. I am CPR and first aid certified for infants through adults. I have excellent references at your request.
